ReTeka Pty Ltd – Wholesale Terms & Conditions

Definitions

“ReTeka” refers to ReTeka Pty Ltd, based in Melbourne, Australia.

“Customer” refers to the original wholesale purchaser.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice.

Once a deposit has been paid, the agreed price of the order will not be affected by any subsequent price changes.

Order Requirements

Minimum order value:

  • Homewares: $500 (excl. GST & freight)
  • Furniture: $800 (excl. GST & freight)

Special or custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit

Cancellation of processed orders will incur a restocking fee of 20% or $50 (whichever is greater)

Credit card details may be required to secure orders. Charges will only be processed upon dispatch.

Nature of Products

ReTeka furniture is crafted from natural materials, including solid teak timber, leather, and textiles. As a result, variations in grain, tone, and finish are inherent and part of the product’s character. These variations are not considered defects.

Colour Representation

We make every effort to display product colours accurately. However, actual colours may vary depending on screen settings. Customers are encouraged to contact our team for clarification prior to purchase if needed.

Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of ReTeka until full payment has been received.

Orders will not be dispatched or released until payment is complete.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery

  • Deliveries are available Australia-wide (excluding PO Boxes)
  • Deliveries are typically conducted Monday to Friday
  • Customers must be available to receive deliveries
  • Failed delivery attempts may incur re-delivery fees

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access. Additional charges may apply where access is difficult (e.g. stairs, tight entry points).

Delivery Costs

Due to the nature of furniture freight, delivery costs are quoted separately where required.

  • Remote locations may incur additional charges or depot collection requirements
  • Re-direction of orders may incur additional fees
  • Delivery charges are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and may vary due to:

  • Production timelines (including pre-orders)
  • Shipping and port delays
  • Weather or logistics disruptions

ReTeka is not liable for delays outside of its control, including supplier or freight partner delays.

Returns, Repairs & Claims

Damaged Items

Customers must notify ReTeka within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photos.

If a claim is approved, ReTeka may:

  • Replace the item (subject to availability)
  • Offer repair solutions
  • provide a refund or store credit

Incorrect Items

If an incorrect item is received, notify us within 48 hours.

We will arrange return and replacement at no additional cost.

Fault Claims

For faults, missing parts, or manufacturing defects, please contact us within 3 business days with supporting images or video.

Resolutions may include:

  • Replacement parts
  • Repair guidance
  • Product replacement
  • Store credit or refund

Exclusions include:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use or assembly
  • Damage during customer handling
  • Minor variations in timber grain, tone, or finish

Warranty

ReTeka products are covered by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Our goods come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights to repair, replacement, or refund for major failures.

Change of Mind Policy

ReTeka does not offer refunds for change of mind.

If approved at our discretion:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping costs (both directions)
  • A restocking fee may apply

Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom or made-to-order items
  • Clearance items
  • Commercial orders
  • In-store purchases taken at time of sale

Store credits (if issued) are valid for 12 months.
